I wanted to take a moment to reach out because a lot of us in the community genuinely care about this game and want to see Spellcrit succeed long term. It’s clear there’s a strong foundation here, and many players continue investing time into the game because they see its potential.

I also want to acknowledge that being a solo developer comes with a huge workload and pressure. Most of the community understands that updates, balancing, bug fixes, and content development all take an enormous amount of time and effort, especially without a large team behind you. Everything you’ve accomplished so far deserves recognition.

That said, I think one area that could dramatically improve the overall health of the game and community is communication and transparency. A lot of players are eager to know what features are being worked on, what direction the game is heading, and what changes are planned for future updates. Even small bits of communication can go a very long way toward keeping players engaged and optimistic about the future of the game.

I’d be very interested in helping in a community management role, whether officially or unofficially, by handling things like patch notes, update summaries, changelogs, forum responses, community announcements, and general communication with the playerbase. Essentially acting as a bridge between development and the community so you can stay focused on building the game while players remain informed and involved.

I know communication itself can become another time-consuming responsibility on top of development, and I think having someone assist with organizing and presenting information to the community could take a significant amount of pressure off of you while also improving player trust and retention.

Additionally, since the community has been requesting a Discord server for quite some time, I decided to go ahead and begin developing one myself to help bring players together in a more organized way. I’d genuinely love to invite you to be a part of it and help shape it into a central hub for the game and its community.

At the end of the day, people are passionate because they believe this game has real potential. The community wants to support the game, help it grow, and see it thrive. I think stronger communication between the developer and players could make a massive difference moving forward.
