I’d like to discuss the latest update—specifically, the bosses. I don’t want to drag this out, so I’ll get straight to the point: to put it mildly, what we got was not at all what we were expecting. Sure, there have been static bosses that you have to kill within a certain time limit, but when it takes over a month to develop a boss, you expect something more than just simple dummies with 100k HP. And overall, this whole boss thing turned out to be very boring and casual. Starting with the fact that they turned out to be solo encounters, though it would have been 100 times better if you could tackle them in groups of 3–5 people, or with clan members, or simply as open access for all players, with a limit of 5–10 people, say. They could’ve also added open-world bosses, like they did pretty well in Zombix. Here, they could’ve set aside a special area for bosses where PvP would be mandatory. A system like that would’ve created thousands of interesting situations and conflicts. But no! Instead, we got AFK farming for 500 gems a day. I wouldn’t say it’s outright bad—after all, an update is an update, and thanks for doing something at all. But the end result turned out so far from what everyone expected that I’m simply speechless. They could have at least given the bosses some kind of attack—even if they just spat acid in a straight line—that would have been more interesting than what we have now. But to be fair, I’ll note that only 4 boss levels are currently unlocked in the game, so there’s still a chance that bosses will become more challenging and active at higher levels—though I seriously doubt it. To sum it up, I can say that the bosses didn’t live up to my expectations at all, but I hope that Kuroku will do something about this mechanic in the near future. That’s all :3
